Head-to-head for women

HealthSource vs Strut Health

HealthSource and Strut Health both offer GLP-1 telehealth to women, but they make different trade-offs on PCOS and hormonal suitability, clinical oversight, price and access. Here they are side-by-side on the Luna Fit Score — our women's-health rubric.

HealthSource

Ranked #49 for women · Grade C

Best for: Women who want an oral tirzepatide option and a documented nationwide footprint, and who will read the four-week billing cycle rather than assuming it is monthly.

The verdict for women

Higher Luna Fit Score: Strut Health

Strut Health edges out HealthSource on the Luna Fit Score, 85 to 74 (B vs C). Women who want a needle-free option, or who want to see every route and price side by side before committing to one. The reasoning behind that number is in our full Strut Health review.

HealthSource is still a genuine option — one of the few programs that documents its all-50-state footprint rather than asserting it, with an oral tirzepatide route and a starter-dose plan priced the same as the full dose. Weigh the six women's-health factors below against your own priorities; what we found reviewing HealthSource goes through each of them, and if neither of these two is the one, what women pick instead of HealthSource widens the field.

HealthSource

Ranked #49 · Grade C

What we like

  • The only provider in this batch whose all-50-state claim is documented on its own service-areas page rather than asserted in marketing copy
  • An oral tirzepatide programme alongside the injections
  • Starter-dose and full-dose plans cost the same, so titrating up does not raise the bill

The caveats

  • Billed every four weeks, not monthly — thirteen charges a year, so the effective annual cost is about 8% above the sticker
  • Never actually claims flat pricing across all doses; the variants it sells happen to cost the same
  • The form of the oral tirzepatide — sublingual, troche or swallowed tablet — is not disclosed anywhere

Strut Health

Ranked #6 · Grade B

What we like

  • Sublingual lozenges for both molecules — a real option if injections are the thing stopping you, and rare on this board
  • Every route prices publicly: semaglutide from $99 sublingual or $149 injectable, tirzepatide from $199 either way
  • Cancel, pause or delay a subscription yourself, with 48 hours' notice before processing

The caveats

  • Compounded medication is not FDA-approved the way brand Ozempic, Wegovy, or Zepbound are
  • No brand-name path at all
  • Asynchronous by design — their FAQ notes some states do not require a phone consultation, so you may never speak to the prescriber

Assume any provider we list may compensate us — we may earn a commission, at no cost to you. Pricing, states and verification reflect each provider's public disclosures at last review; the Luna Fit Score is our editorial judgment per the methodology.
