How we're funded

Luna Metabolic is an independent, reader-supported publication that reviews GLP-1 care through a women's-health lens. Keeping it free and honest costs money, and this is the part where we tell you plainly where that money comes from. The short and important truth is that some of the links we use to send you to a provider are affiliate links. If you click through one and sign up, we may earn a commission — and it never costs you a cent more than going there directly. To keep things simple, please assume that any provider we list may compensate us this way. Those commissions pay for our research, the ongoing work of re-checking provider pricing, and keeping the site open to everyone.

The money never touches the score

This is the line we will not cross. A commission never changes a provider's Luna Fit Score, and it never changes the price you pay. Every provider is graded on the same weighted factors under one published rubric — you can read exactly how in our methodology — and the number printed beside a provider is the unmodified one, whether it pays us or not.

Where the money does show up: list order

We would rather be exact than reassuring, so here is the part most sites leave out. Commercial relationships do affect the order providers appear in, and we cap how far. Affiliate partners carry a small, bounded edge in position only, never in the score. Beyond that bounded gap the better score always ranks higher, whether we earn from it or not.

The edge is deliberately small, and the scores it moves against are close together: the ranking runs 65 providers across a 93–55 range, with 9 of them sitting on exactly 84. So what the edge mostly does is reorder providers a reader would find hard to separate on the numbers anyway. It is bounded rather than unlimited, which means a partner can sit above a somewhat better-scoring provider but never above a much better one — and the gap it can bridge is smaller than the spread of this ranking. It is also not what put our top pick at number one: that provider holds the highest score here and would lead with the edge switched off entirely. Commercial emphasis can also affect how often we write about a provider, and whether it appears in a spotlight or a sidebar; wherever that happens, we disclose it.

Editorial independence, kept separate on purpose

The team that scores and writes about providers does that work first, on the merits, and the funding side does not get a vote in it. We would rather tell a reader an unglamorous truth about a provider than protect a commission, because the moment you stop trusting the ranking, the ranking is worth nothing.

The kinds of relationships we have

Our relationships with providers run through standard affiliate programs, sometimes directly and sometimes through affiliate networks that manage the tracking and payouts. That is the extent of it. We are not a medical provider, a pharmacy, or a telehealth company, and beyond those ordinary affiliate arrangements we are not owned by, partnered with, or speaking for any provider or drug manufacturer. We also do not try to cover every provider in the market — the ones we review reflect our editorial priorities and the questions women actually bring to us.
