Women's health can feel personal in a way that makes data collection uncomfortable, so we have kept ours deliberately light and asked for your permission before any of it happens. This page explains, in plain language, what Luna Metabolic measures, what it does not, and how you stay in control.

What we measure, and only with your yes

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, roughly where visits come from (approximated from an IP address that we do not store), and the general device and browser someone is on. That is the whole of it. None of it begins until you accept through our cookie banner, and we ask you to opt in rather than making you opt out.

Consent starts at “denied”

We run Google Consent Mode v2, and its default state is denied. Until you actively agree, analytics and advertising storage stay switched off, no analytics cookies are placed, and no measurement takes place. If you would rather decline, that denied default simply remains in place and you can keep reading exactly as before.

Where your choice lives

Your decision is remembered on your own device, saved in your browser's local storage under a key named cookie-consent. It stays on your machine and is not a profile of you held somewhere on our end.

Google as our analytics partner

Google Analytics is provided by Google, which processes the measurement data described above on our behalf as a third-party service. How Google handles information collected through its tools is governed by Google's own privacy terms, and we would encourage you to read them if you want the full detail of that side of things.

We do not sell your information

Luna Metabolic does not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not trade it for anything of value. We are not in the data business — we publish research and cover our costs through the affiliate relationships described in our disclosure. The conditions you use the site under — including what you may do with what you read here — are a separate document, our terms of use, and the standards the research itself is held to are in our editorial policy.

Your choices, whenever you want them

Because your consent lives on your device, you can change your mind at any time. Clearing this site's data in your browser, or removing the cookie-consent entry, resets everything and brings the banner back so you can choose again. Declining opts you out of measurement entirely. This site is for grown women

Luna Metabolic is written for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and certainly not from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, let us know and we will remove it.

How long anything is kept

The consent flag stays on your device until you clear it. The aggregate analytics we see through Google Analytics 4 is retained only for as long as we need it to understand trends, and it is held under Google's retention settings rather than in a separate store of our own.

Keeping things secure

The site is served over encrypted connections, and we deliberately limit what we collect so there is very little about you to protect in the first place. No method of transmitting or storing data online is ever perfectly secure, but keeping our footprint small is the most honest safeguard we can offer.

If this policy changes

If our practices change, we will update this page so it always reflects what actually happens. When the change is a meaningful one, the revised version simply takes effect here.
