Head-to-head for women

SkinnyRx vs Strut Health

SkinnyRx and Strut Health both offer GLP-1 telehealth to women, but they make different trade-offs on PCOS and hormonal suitability, clinical oversight, price and access. Here they are side-by-side on the Luna Fit Score — our women's-health rubric.

SkinnyRx

Ranked #51 for women · Grade C

Best for: Readers treating insulin resistance who want the dual GIP/GLP-1 molecule without a weekly injection, and who will open the plan selector and read the month-to-month rate rather than the advertised one.

The verdict for women

Higher Luna Fit Score: Strut Health

Strut Health edges out SkinnyRx on the Luna Fit Score, 83 to 71 (B vs C). Women who want a needle-free option, or who want to see every route and price side by side before committing to one. The reasoning behind that number is in our full Strut Health review.

SkinnyRx is still a genuine option — the rare program that compounds tirzepatide as a dissolving tablet as well as an injection — genuinely useful if the needle is what is stopping you — sold behind a four-rung commitment ladder whose cheapest rung is the only price the site ever shows you. Weigh the six women's-health factors below against your own priorities; the SkinnyRx scorecard goes through each of them, and if neither of these two is the one, our ranked shortlist of SkinnyRx alternatives widens the field.

SkinnyRx

Ranked #51 · Grade C

What we like

  • A compounded tirzepatide TABLET — a dissolving sublingual route for the dual GIP/GLP-1 molecule, priced identically to the injection at every rung, which is close to unique in this ranking
  • Both molecules across three routes — injection, sublingual and daily tablet — so needle aversion never means changing provider or dropping back to the single-pathway drug
  • Lower-dose "microdose" lines for both molecules are sold as their own products with their own published ladders, rather than being quoted at the full-dose price

The caveats

  • Carries an active FDA warning letter issued in February 2026 (see the notice on this page for FDA's own record)
  • Every price the site advertises is the TWELVE-MONTH rung: its own headline reads "Starting at $299/mo" while the month-to-month tirzepatide rate is $399 and the renewal price in its code is literally 399 — semaglutide is the same shape at $199 advertised against $349 month-to-month
  • The commitment is not named beside the number anywhere in the marketing copy, and the prepay rung is also what its schema.org product markup publishes as the price — so search engines and AI assistants are given the twelve-month rate as though it were the monthly one

Strut Health

Ranked #10 · Grade B

What we like

  • Sublingual lozenges for both molecules — a real option if injections are the thing stopping you, and rare in this ranking
  • Every route prices publicly: semaglutide from $99 sublingual or $149 injectable, tirzepatide from $199 either way
  • Cancel, pause or delay a subscription yourself, with 48 hours' notice before processing

The caveats

  • Compounded medication is not FDA-approved the way brand Ozempic, Wegovy, or Zepbound are
  • No brand-name path at all
  • Asynchronous by design — their FAQ notes some states do not require a phone consultation, so you may never speak to the prescriber
