Evernow is worth considering when the appointment you need is about menopause as well as weight. Its care model offers an alternative to buying a medication subscription first and trying to coordinate hormone care later. The important purchasing distinction is that paying for access to a clinician does not pay for every prescription or visit.
This is a review of Evernow's published services and policies, not an account of receiving treatment. We have not assigned a numerical fit score: a menopause practice with separate prescription billing should be assessed on the care you actually need, not made to look interchangeable with an all-in compounded-drug subscription.
Membership or an occasional visit?
Evernow offers two routes. Pay-per-visit provides a virtual consultation without a required membership, with ninety-day access to prescriptions and its care platform. Membership provides ongoing access, secure messaging and optional video visits. Both can lead to a personalized plan that includes hormone or weight medication when appropriate. 1
For someone who wants an initial discussion or second opinion, the visit route deserves attention before a long commitment. For someone anticipating regular questions about symptoms and prescriptions, messaging access may be more valuable. Ask how a refill is handled near the end of the ninety-day access period and whether a further visit is needed. The right comparison is your likely care pattern over several months.
A useful first question is whether you want a consultation, a continuing relationship or an affordable route to one specific prescription. Those needs can lead to different choices. If your current clinician already manages your menopause symptoms, ask what an additional membership would add rather than paying twice for follow-up you do not expect to use.
What does Evernow cost?
The FAQ lists $49 for month-to-month membership, $129 for three months and $420 for twelve months. The advertised $35 monthly equivalent belongs to the annual option. A self-pay video visit is $150; covered visits remain subject to the member's copay or deductible. Membership itself is not insurance-covered, and medication is separate. The FAQ advertises care in all fifty states and D.C. 2
Keep three lines in your budget: access, appointments and prescriptions. A lower annual equivalent is useful only if you expect to use the service throughout that term. Ask whether the plan renews for the same period, how to cancel and what happens to an unused balance. Do not assume that changing medication or stopping treatment automatically ends a care subscription.
How weight care fits into menopause care
The weight-care page places prescribing within a midlife service and describes ongoing clinician messaging and pharmacy pickup or delivery. It also presents its own symptom-improvement research. That material explains the company's positioning; it does not establish a head-to-head advantage over another clinic or predict your weight response. 3
The practical attraction is continuity. If sleep, hot flashes and weight are all concerns, ask whether the same clinician will follow them together and which issues need a different specialist. A menopause-focused service is not a reason to assume that every symptom is hormonal or that hormone treatment is being prescribed for weight loss. Our GLP-1 and HRT guide helps prepare that conversation.
Who prescribes, and where does medication come from?
Evernow's terms separate the platform from Evernow Medical and Cloud Health Medical Groups. They leave prescribing decisions to the clinician and state that a prescription is not guaranteed. They also recognize pharmacy choice and say pharmaceutical products cannot be returned. 4
Before approving a care plan, request the exact medication, formulation, pharmacy, quantity and refill cost. The term GLP-1 does not establish a specific product. A clinic access fee cannot tell you whether a particular brand will be covered by your insurer, whether prior authorization is needed or how much a prescription will cost after the deductible.
For any proposed compounded preparation, ask why that formulation is appropriate and how its status differs from the corresponding approved medicine. Our brand-name versus compounded guide explains the distinction without treating the products as interchangeable.
What remains unclear before checkout?
The pages reviewed do not give a complete medication-specific GLP-1 renewal price alongside a universal cancellation-and-refund schedule for every membership choice. That prevents a reliable all-in monthly estimate here. It is a reason to get the selected terms in writing, rather than substitute an attractive access price for the total bill.
Also establish who handles clinical messages while your usual provider is away, whether laboratory work is needed for your particular prescription and which outside services create additional bills. Save the care plan and cancellation instructions. If you already have an OB-GYN or primary-care clinician, agree who receives records and follows any issue that cannot be assessed remotely.
Our view
Evernow's strongest reason to make a shortlist is its menopause-centered care model and choice between ongoing access and individual visits. Its main comparison challenge is a total bill spread across different services. Consider it alongside Midi's visit-based model, and use our menopause program comparison to decide which kind of follow-up you want before comparing drug prices.
