Ivim Health review

By Luna Editorial TeamUpdated

A separate care membership accompanies medication programs. Compare the full upfront purchase and ongoing membership, not the drug headline alone.

  • Different official pages show different starting drug amounts; selected-plan pricing and term need confirmation.
  • A prepaid medication program does not remove the active-membership requirement or guarantee automatic shipments.
  • Fixed program deadlines can cause unused medication entitlement to lapse; ordinary cancellation does not pause the clock.
  • A February 20, 2026 FDA warning letter addressed website labeling that suggested Ivim compounded the drugs; current resolution status is not established here.

Ivim Health combines continuing clinical support with medication programs rather than selling access to a prescription through a single visit. Its central purchasing distinction is straightforward: the membership and medication are different charges. The less obvious distinction is that paying for a longer medication program does not mean every shipment arrives automatically or that unused program time remains available indefinitely.

This review assesses Ivim's public offer and policies. We have not received care through the service. Its suitability depends on whether you want its follow-up model and can manage the financial and refill requirements of the plan selected.

What does the membership buy?

Ivim lists membership at $74.99 a month, sometimes rounded to $75 in its presentation. It covers access to the care team and programs; prescription medication is additional. The membership page also describes access to women's hormone care without another membership fee, although treatment-specific costs remain separate. An active membership is required for prescriptions. 1

For someone considering both weight care and menopause support, that shared access may be useful. Ask whether the same clinician coordinates the two plans, what appointments are available and how records are shared with your existing doctor. One membership should not be mistaken for an unlimited medication budget. Our GLP-1 and HRT guide can help organize that discussion.

Think about how often you would use the support. If you already have reliable follow-up through a local clinician, identify what this membership would add. If you need frequent guidance, ask how quickly clinical messages are usually reviewed and which situations require a scheduled appointment.

The drug headline is only one part of the bill

The current weight-loss page advertises compounded semaglutide starting at $65 per month and tirzepatide at $117, plus a $75 program fee. Another official landing page lists $75 and $133 respectively, plus $74.99. These are starting figures, not an established maintenance-dose or month-to-month quote for every person. 2 3

Ivim's patient guidance says compounded programs require upfront medication payment. Ask for the actual program price, duration, included doses and membership payments across the whole term. A low monthly equivalent can still mean a large initial purchase. A temporary membership promotion, if offered, also needs an end date and renewal amount. 4

A useful comparison sheet has three numbers: cash needed today, total cost through the selected program and expected cost afterward. Add any tests or outside appointments your clinician requires. Ask what happens financially if your dose changes or the original medication becomes inappropriate. Until those answers are specific to your plan, adding the smallest public figures together is only an illustration, not a reliable quote.

How ongoing care and refills work

The service describes an intake questionnaire, a video or chat consultation and weekly app check-ins about progress and side effects. Its GLP-1 ID terms cap each shipment at 56 days, require clinical review before further dispensing and say shipments are not automatic. The clinician may authorize a shorter supply. 2 5

That structure makes the refill calendar part of the purchase decision. Ask when your first check-in is due, how to request the next shipment and how the team handles a delayed response. Store the refill instructions somewhere you will see them, particularly if work or travel makes regular app use difficult.

Do not interpret individualized dosing as permission to change your own dose. Ask for a written plan and an explanation of any change in formulation or concentration. Our cost and starting-care guide includes questions for comparing follow-up arrangements as well as headline prices.

Approved medicines, compounding and state access

Ivim's weight page also lists Wegovy and Zepbound as options when clinically appropriate and says branded medication coverage depends on the insurance plan. It states that services are not available in all states. Confirm both clinician access and pharmacy fulfillment for your location before choosing a program. The pages reviewed do not establish a universal pharmacy assignment for every patient. 2

Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved and do not receive the FDA's premarket review for safety, effectiveness or quality. Ask why the proposed preparation meets your needs and how it differs from an approved product. 6 The compounded versus brand-name comparison explains why the formulation belongs in a price comparison.

A provider-specific FDA warning

On February 20, 2026, the FDA issued a warning letter to Ivim Services LLC dba Ivim after reviewing ivimhealth.com in December 2025. The agency said pictured compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide labels suggested Ivim was the compounder when it was not, making the representations false or misleading and the products misbranded. This is a dated finding about the reviewed website presentation; the letter alone does not establish its current resolution status. Ask which pharmacy actually compounds and dispenses your prescription. 7

Cancellation does not preserve unused program time

The membership page says cancellation can be requested online and takes effect at the end of the billing period, ending future prescriptions. It also says membership must run through the clinical program. Obtain the selected term's earliest cancellation date in writing. 1

Current medication terms establish a fixed program period and a 14-day final-request grace period. Missed check-ins do not ordinarily extend it, and unused medication entitlement can lapse. A clinician-documented, medically necessary pause in the GLP-1 ID program can qualify for an authorized timeline adjustment; simply requesting a pause or canceling membership does not. Refunds are limited by the stated policies. 5

Before prepaying, ask how those rules apply if you cannot tolerate treatment, relocate or need to stop for another medical reason. Keep a copy of the response. This is especially important when a lower monthly equivalent encourages a longer purchase than you would otherwise make.

Our view

Ivim merits consideration when regular remote follow-up and access to more than one clinical program are priorities. The main tradeoff is a purchase that combines recurring care fees, a separate medication commitment and active refill responsibilities. Compare a complete written offer with the programs in our comparison directory. Clear costs and a manageable care schedule matter more than the lowest introductory number.
