Wisp brings weight care into a service many women may already know for reproductive-health prescriptions. Its current weight catalog includes branded GLP-1 options, compounded semaglutide drops and a separate PCOS metformin pathway. These are different treatments and different purchases. The strongest reason to consider Wisp is convenience; the strongest reason to slow down is making sure the selected product and total bill match what you meant to request.
We reviewed the public catalog and terms rather than becoming a patient. This review does not assign a numerical fit score or treat reviews of the wider Wisp service as evidence of results from its weight program.
What does the weight consultation provide?
The weight-care catalog lists a $99 consultation and routes to branded treatments including Wegovy, Zepbound and Saxenda. Its process describes clinician review, monthly check-ins and access to the care team. The catalog also sells a metabolic-support supplement. That supplement is not a prescription GLP-1 medicine, despite appearing beside the weight treatments. 1
For a branded prescription, ask for the medication charge at your selected pharmacy, any insurance or prior-authorization work and the cost of continued prescribing. A consultation fee cannot establish the final pharmacy price. The fact that one route offers delivery also does not mean every brand or prescription can be shipped by Wisp. Our insurance-help guide helps compare those separate steps.
The compounded drops need a separate assessment
The drops page displays $225 per month for a fifteen-milliliter compounded sublingual semaglutide product, with delivery only. It says the lowest dosage is initially selected and the practitioner reviews it against the medical history. That is a starting product presentation, not proof that every prescribed dose has the same price or supply duration. 2
More importantly, the weight-consult page explicitly says the exact sublingual formulation has not been tested in the human body; it cites laboratory work using human-derived tissue instead. The clinic's product description therefore does not establish equivalence to an approved semaglutide injection or tablet. It also says care is restricted by state. 3
Before choosing drops to avoid needles, ask what evidence supports the specific preparation, how it is taken, which pharmacy prepares it and what happens if the response is inadequate. FDA explains that compounded drugs do not undergo its premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality. That is a regulatory distinction, separate from Wisp's disclosure about its exact formulation. 6 Our brand-name versus compounded guide explains why formulation and approval status belong in the decision.
The PCOS metformin offer is not a GLP-1 offer
Wisp's metformin page advertises a starting $24 consultation-and-prescription charge, excluding the medication cost at the local pharmacy. It says an eligible person with an existing metformin prescription and PCOS history may receive a three-month prescription. That is more specific than interpreting the catalog's $24 headline as a delivered month's medication or a comprehensive PCOS evaluation. 4
If your main need is a diagnosis, irregular-cycle assessment or fertility planning, establish whether this service will address it or refer you elsewhere. A convenient prescription pathway can be useful without replacing a broader endocrine or gynecologic evaluation. Compare the scope in our PCOS Sisters review and PCOS program comparison, rather than treating every PCOS-labeled product as the same kind of care.
What happens at renewal or cancellation?
Wisp's general terms distinguish the platform from affiliated medical practices. They say products are generally final sale, with limited discretionary refund or replacement situations. Subscription cancellation must be received at least forty-eight hours before the next refill or renewal period, through support or the patient portal. Prescription subscription renewal also requires a valid prescription and clinical review of the renewal intake. 5
Check which of these terms applies to the selected weight-care product. Ask whether the consultation is repeated, whether clinical support creates another fee and whether supply automatically renews. Stopping a shipment, canceling a consultation and requesting a refund are separate actions. Save the renewal date and obtain confirmation rather than assuming that leaving medication unused cancels the order.
Questions that change the fit
The pages reviewed do not give us a verified single state list covering every weight product or a complete consultation-plus-renewal charge for every option. Confirm eligibility for your specific formulation before paying. Also request the assigned clinical practice and pharmacy, and ask whether a scheduled video conversation is available when you need more than portal messages.
Bring all other prescriptions, contraception and pregnancy plans to the assessment. Our birth-control guide helps frame medication-specific questions; it is not a reason to change contraception without the prescriber. If you use Wisp for several services, ask whether those histories are reviewed together and who coordinates with your existing clinician.
Wisp is most useful on a shortlist when its remote-prescription format fits your needs and the product is clear. It is harder to recommend from a headline alone because the catalog mixes different medications, supplements and fulfillment arrangements. Choose the care pathway first, then compare its complete ongoing cost and clinical support.
