Head-to-head for women
Mint Med vs Sesame Care
Mint Med and Sesame Care both offer GLP-1 telehealth to women, but they make different trade-offs on PCOS and hormonal suitability, clinical oversight, price and access. Here they are side-by-side on the Luna Fit Score — our women's-health rubric.
Mint Med
Ranked #53 for women · Grade C
Luna Fit
Best for: Women in one of its 35 states who want a named prescriber and a price that genuinely does not move as the dose climbs, on a month-to-month plan rather than a prepay.

Luna Fit
Best for: Shoppers who want genuine FDA-approved brand-name GLP-1s and the ability to pick their own provider and see the price up front, rather than one fixed compounded program.
Visit Sesame CareThe verdict for women
Sesame Care edges out Mint Med on the Luna Fit Score, 85 to 65 (B vs C). Shoppers who want genuine FDA-approved brand-name GLP-1s and the ability to pick their own provider and see the price up front, rather than one fixed compounded program. The reasoning behind that number is in the Sesame Care scorecard.
Mint Med is still a genuine option — names the physician who reviews every intake and locks your price for life across every dose — then undercuts both promises with a banner price that matches nothing on sale and a refund policy that contradicts the storefront. Weigh the six women's-health factors below against your own priorities; our full Mint Med review goes through each of them, and if neither of these two is the one, the Mint Med alternatives, scored on the same six factors widens the field.

Luna Fit
Mint Med
Ranked #53 · Grade C
What we like
- Names its lead physician — Roderick Huff, MD, board-certified in emergency medicine — and states he reviews every patient personally
- 'All doses included' and 'price locked for life' are stated explicitly on both product pages
- Medication, all doctor visits, injection supplies and two-day cold shipping are inside the price with no membership fee
The caveats
- FDA warning letter MARCS-CMS 730390, dated 8 June 2026, to Glow Medispa, LLC dba Mint Med, over how its product labelling represented who compounds the medication. Mint Med appears to have remediated; no close-out letter has been issued
- A site-wide banner advertises a price that matches nothing actually on sale, and three different tirzepatide prices are live simultaneously
- The storefront says there are no consultation fees; the refund policy says consultation fees are non-refundable once you have been seen
Luna Fit
Sesame Care
Ranked #4 · Grade B
What we like
- Real FDA-approved brand-name access — Wegovy pen and pill, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro and Rybelsus
- Established platform (operating since 2018) with LegitScript, BBB accreditation and large third-party review volume
- You choose the provider and see the price up front — genuine marketplace transparency
The caveats
- A generalist marketplace, not a dedicated weight-loss program — lighter ongoing hand-holding than a specialist desk
- Two-part cost (a platform subscription plus the medication) makes the true monthly total harder to compare
- Brand-name cash prices can run high without insurance
