Enhance MD review

Enhance MD is a compounded GLP-1 program that requires lab work before anyone prescribes. You fill in an intake, pay, get blood drawn at a Quest Diagnostics location, then meet a provider by video. If you are approved, your medication ships every four weeks, and Quest labs repeat every six months for as long as you stay. Care comes from physicians and nurse practitioners employed by two medical groups, Enhance Wellness PC and iThriveMD PC; Enhance MD itself is the management platform.

It sells four weight-loss products plus NAD+ add-ons, and every price is posted. The thing to understand is the calendar: Enhance bills in four-week blocks, not months.

How much does Enhance MD cost?

Each product has a four-rung ladder. The "monthly" price falls as you prepay more:

How to read it:

• Four weeks is not a month. Paying every four weeks means 13 charges a year. Core semaglutide at $249 comes to about $3,237 a year, not $2,988. The "12-month" plan is billed every 48 weeks, so it covers 48 weeks, not a full year.
• The headline is the 48-week rung. The homepage shows Core at "$112" for the first month and "$212/mo" after. That $112 is the 48-week price with $100 off the first order. The prepaid plans get $100 off the first order; the pay-every-four-weeks plan gets $50 off. A site-wide banner promises "up to $150 off your first order," so check which discount applies at checkout.
• Same price at every dose. Each product page says "Same Pricing – All Doses," so moving up a dose does not raise your bill.
• What's included: four weeks of medication, provider care, lab testing every six months, supplies, wellness coaching, portal access and two-day priority shipping. Enhance says there are no hidden fees.
• No FSA or HSA cards, gift cards or prepaid cards. Enhance takes Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express only.

NAD+ add-ons: NAD+ injections are listed at $169 a month, and NAD+ wafers run $84 to $99 on the same four-rung ladder.

What do you actually get?

Medication. Compounded injections only: semaglutide (Core), tirzepatide (Advanced), a semaglutide-plus-tirzepatide formula (Elite) that Enhance pitches to people who have plateaued, and a low-dose tirzepatide plan at 1 mg a week that stays capped instead of climbing. Enhance states that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and that its formulations are compounded under the federal 503A rules. There is no brand-name option and no pill.

Labs, before and during treatment. This is the program's core idea. The baseline panel is a comprehensive metabolic panel, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), lipids and HbA1c, ideally fasting. Results reach your dashboard in one to two business days, and the panel repeats every six months. The FAQ is blunt about why: companies that skip bloodwork are "cutting corners."

Clinicians. U.S.-licensed physicians and nurse practitioners. You meet by video after your labs, then message your care team through the portal.

Pharmacies, named. Enhance lists its current pharmacy partners: Tru Meds Rx, Strive Pharmacy and Pharmacy Hub. You can send a prescription to your own pharmacy instead, but then that pharmacy bills you directly for the medication.

Support. Phone and email seven days a week (weekdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern, weekends 9 to 5), with a stated goal of replying within 24 hours.

Eligibility. New patients need a BMI of 25 or higher. If you already take a GLP-1, the minimum is 20. A government ID and a face photo are required.

Is Enhance MD a good fit for women with PCOS or in menopause?

Enhance has no PCOS, perimenopause or menopause program, and it does not prescribe hormones. What it does well matters for women anyway. The baseline TSH test screens your thyroid before you start, which is useful because thyroid problems are common in women and can mimic or mask weight-loss trouble. The six-month repeat panel tracks blood sugar and lipids over time, which is the main metabolic concern with PCOS.

The microdose plan may also appeal to women who had a rough time with nausea on full doses, though Enhance describes it as longevity-focused and says weight loss "isn't the primary aim."

How does starting work?

Step 1. Complete the medical intake. It is free.

Step 2. Pay for your chosen plan. The charge renews automatically every four weeks, or at the end of your prepaid block.

Step 3. Get labs drawn at Quest as soon as you can. Your video visit can't be booked until the results arrive.

Step 4. Meet your provider by video. If you are prescribed, medication ships by two-day priority. It travels unrefrigerated but goes in the fridge the day it arrives.

States. Enhance says it is licensed in all 50 states but has launched only in 40 states and Washington, DC. The states left off that list are Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, South Carolina and Tennessee.

What are the cancellation and refund terms?

• Full refund if you are not eligible. If you are found ineligible at any point during onboarding, Enhance refunds 100% of your initial payment, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
• Pause or cancel anytime through support by email or phone. Cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next charge.
• No returns on prescription products.
• Binding arbitration in San Diego for disputes, with a class-action waiver.

The FAQ does not say whether unused weeks on a 24- or 48-week prepay are refunded if you stop early. Ask before you prepay.

Who is Enhance MD for?

It suits a woman who wants labs before and during treatment, likes knowing which pharmacy fills her prescription, and wants a flat price that will not rise as her dose goes up. It also suits anyone who has plateaued and wants a combination formula, or who wants a gentler low-dose plan.

It is a poor fit if you live in one of the ten states not served yet, need brand-name medication or a pill, want to pay with an HSA or FSA card, or want help with hormones.

Where it lands

Enhance MD publishes every rung of every price, names its pharmacies, and makes baseline and repeat labs part of the program. Do the four-week math before you choose: $249 every four weeks is about $3,237 a year, and the $212 rate requires paying for 48 weeks at once.
