Head-to-head for women

He & She MD vs Sesame Care

He & She MD and Sesame Care both offer GLP-1 telehealth to women, but they make different trade-offs on PCOS and hormonal suitability, clinical oversight, price and access. Here they are side-by-side on the Luna Fit Score — our women's-health rubric.

He & She MD

Ranked #25 for women · Grade B−

Best for: Women who want the GLP-1 and the hormone conversation handled by one clinician rather than split across two providers, and who will read the asterisk before choosing a plan length.

The verdict for women

Higher Luna Fit Score: Sesame Care

Sesame Care edges out He & She MD on the Luna Fit Score, 85 to 80 (B vs B−). Shoppers who want genuine FDA-approved brand-name GLP-1s and the ability to pick their own provider and see the price up front, rather than one fixed compounded program. The reasoning behind that number is in the Sesame Care scorecard.

He & She MD is still a genuine option — the one desk here that also sells the menopause side — estradiol as a patch, a gel or a pill plus progesterone — under the same intake as its GLP-1s, and the only line on the site whose price has no term table behind it. Weigh the six women's-health factors below against your own priorities; the He & She MD scorecard goes through each of them, and if neither of these two is the one, our ranked shortlist of He & She MD alternatives widens the field.

He & She MD

Ranked #25 · Grade B−

What we like

  • Sells estradiol (patch, gel and pill) and progesterone alongside its GLP-1s, so the menopause and metabolic sides run through one intake
  • Prices four commitment terms per GLP-1 molecule in public, with the amount actually charged printed beside each
  • Names the dispensing pharmacy in full — F&F Pharmacies Inc, doing business as Jungle Jim's Pharmacy, 5484 Dixie Highway, Fairfield OH 45014, with a phone number

The caveats

  • ⚠ The menopause line is the one place it stops publishing terms: estradiol patch, gel and pill and the progesterone pill all show "Starting at $125/month" with no term table at all, while seven other product pages carry a full four-rung ladder
  • ⚠ Every advertised GLP-1 figure is the twelve-month rung — the "$99/month" on the banners requires $1,188 paid once, and the rate you can stop after a month is $199
  • Its FAQ says the pharmacy it names is licensed in 44 states and cannot dispense sterile compounds; a weekly GLP-1 injection is a sterile compound, and a second pharmacy is named in the same answer without saying which fills what

Sesame Care

Ranked #4 · Grade B

What we like

  • Real FDA-approved brand-name access — Wegovy pen and pill, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro and Rybelsus
  • Established platform (operating since 2018) with LegitScript, BBB accreditation and large third-party review volume
  • You choose the provider and see the price up front — genuine marketplace transparency

The caveats

  • A generalist marketplace, not a dedicated weight-loss program — lighter ongoing hand-holding than a specialist desk
  • Two-part cost (a platform subscription plus the medication) makes the true monthly total harder to compare
  • Brand-name cash prices can run high without insurance
