Head-to-head for women

NewSelf vs yourEra

NewSelf and yourEra both offer GLP-1 telehealth to women, but they make different trade-offs on PCOS and hormonal suitability, clinical oversight, price and access. Here they are side-by-side on the Luna Fit Score — our women's-health rubric.

NewSelf

Ranked #54 for women · Grade C

Best for: Women who are certain they want three months of a flat-priced compounded GLP-1 and will not need to change their mind, because changing it is expensive here.

The verdict for women

Higher Luna Fit Score: yourEra

yourEra edges out NewSelf on the Luna Fit Score, 86 to 64 (B vs C). Women who want transparently priced semaglutide and tirzepatide plus an optional NAD+, microdosing, and coaching-and-labs menu on one account. The reasoning behind that number is in our full yourEra review.

NewSelf is still a genuine option — one price at any dose, three months of medication shipped up front — and a set of exit terms and unresolved compliance problems that make it the hardest program on this board to leave. Weigh the six women's-health factors below against your own priorities; our NewSelf write-up for women goes through each of them, and if neither of these two is the one, our ranked shortlist of NewSelf alternatives widens the field.

NewSelf

Ranked #54 · Grade C

What we like

  • One flat price at every dose for both molecules, with the dose ladder published beside it
  • Three months of medication shipped up front, so there is no waiting on refills mid-titration
  • LegitScript certified with a published, checkable ID

The caveats

  • FDA warning letter MARCS-CMS 721472, dated 20 February 2026, to NewSelf Limited dba NewSelf, over product labelling and marketing language. As of 1 August 2026 the wording the FDA objected to was still live on the site — five months on, unremediated
  • The product pages carry a badge reading 'cancel anytime', while the refund policy requires a three-month commitment and charges a full retail month as an early-cancellation fee. Those cannot both be true
  • No refunds: cancelling before the doctor's review costs a $99 administrative fee, and after it nothing is refundable regardless of shipment status

yourEra

Ranked #3 · Grade B

What we like

  • Publicly listed pricing on both molecules — semaglutide from $199/mo and tirzepatide from $299/mo — while many compounders hide price behind a quiz
  • Fuller menu beyond GLP-1: NAD+ and microdosing protocols, plus an optional membership adding 1:1 coaching, a nutritionist, and an at-home lab draw
  • Markets a 50-state licensed-clinician network, no insurance required, with HSA/FSA accepted

The caveats

  • Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved the way brand Wegovy, Ozempic, or Zepbound are, and compounding access can tighten as brand shortages resolve
  • Mid-market pricing that sits above the cheapest compounders (roughly $99–$150)
  • Injectable only — no oral route and no brand-name lane
